  • How to Block Unwanted Emails in cPanel

    Hello Friends,

    Step 1 — Go to Apache SpamAssassin.
    Login to your cPanel account >> click on Apache SpamAssassin in Email section >> Click Configure

    Step 2 — Blocking unwanted email accounts.
    In the Apache SpamAssassin configuration page you will see many methods on how to block spam emails.

    How to fill in the information:
    • blacklist_from -> user1@yourdomain1.com:
    With this configuration all the emails sent from user1@yourdomain1.com will be blocked but emails sent from other accounts like user2@yourdomain1.com will still reach your inbox.
    • blacklist_from -> *@yourdomain1.com:
    With this type of configuration parameter, you will be able to block all emails coming from a specific domain name, so whether it is user1@ yourdomain1.com or user2@ yourdomain1.com, everything will be blocked from the domain yourdomain1.com.
    When finish with adding addresses, click on Save button.

    From now on all emails that are coming from email addresses that are in the blacklist will be blocked..
