Unable to create email account:

Hello Team,

I am getting error while creating email from cpanel. Please check screenshot:

Upon further checking the error logs, I got below error logs

warn [uapi] The system encountered an error while modifying the email accounts password file: (XID h3hgx2) The system failed to create the file “/home/user/etc/domain.com/passwd.lock” (as EUID: 1373, EGID: 1373) because of the following error: No such file or directory

Can someone please assist with this ???

It looks like the etc folder under this user home directory or the associated domain folder in etc folder is missing because of this you may facing this issue.

Just create the etc folder under this user homedir and try to create a email account using cPanel interface, it should fix your issue.
