  • Security measures on Cloud Technology?

Is cloud technology that much secure as compare to on-premises Infrastructure? Is it to worry about security holes in Cloud Technology?

    Hi,

Whether it is on-prem or cloud, your data security is your responsibility to a certain extent. However, if we talk about security in terms of hardware infrastructure, then its secure because you don't have to worry about the underlying hardware health, which in an on-prem you do require.

Consider a scenario in which a hardware crashes, what will be case in on-prem? and what will be the case in Cloud Technology? All your operations will stop until the on-prem hardware is restored or reinstated, but with cloud technology your operations will still be working because all your data will already have been moved to a health hardware in a cluster without interfering your operations.

All traffic that comes in and goes out of the cloud is being monitored, to identify the security holes and are patched with priority, so you must not worry about the security holes.

Hello Mr. Danech, Thank you for the valuable update. Taking ahead with Cloud Platform while neglecting the worries about security holes, can you please suggest some good and reliable tools from which I can monitor my cloud platform or cloud Infrastructure?

There are various monitoring tools available from Top industries. You can take a look at Zabbix or DataDog as we are partnered with both of them. The services these monitoring softwares are offering are proven and industry standard for cloud infrastructure monitoring. Nevertheless, both are the most recommended softwares for monitoring IT infrastructures.

Over the last few years, cloud computing has grown in popularity in the commercial world. Organizations are moving away from server-based data centers and toward solutions provided by third parties. However, as more data is stored digitally, the risk of being hacked increases. Data breaches are costing businesses a lot of money, and cybercriminals are coming up with new and clever ways to steal data.

          These worries are common.

According to Forbes, three main aspects contribute to data security in cloud platforms. Redundancy is the first. The second factor is the policy of safe sharing. Anyone who has used Google Docs before understands how file sharing works. Instead of making a copy, the user must input the email address of anyone who should be able to view the file. Encryption is the final component that affects cloud security. It is extremely difficult for a hacker to gain access to files if the user frequently changes their password. In fact, with the rise of the work-from-home trend, cloud computing is becoming a more widely accepted and used approach for ensuring project delivery continuity. To add to that, RPA-as-a-service is a new offering in the works in the cloud plus RPA services area.
